Established by the visionary Mr. A N Prakash, the company is today one of its kind consultancy firm in the country offering end to end project management solutions for the construction industry.

Mr. A N Prakash, heads A N Prakash Construction Project Management Consultants Pvt. Ltd., which provides Construction Project Management services to a wide clientele consisting of developers, builders, intermediaries and end-users in the built environment sector of the Construction Industry.

He pioneered this concept in 1986, and has converted the company into a well-known player in the consulting space in South India. A recent survey by an independent agency has placed the company on a 100% first recall in South India wherever a project is more than Rs.100 Mn. About 15% of the major players in West India and 7% of the major players in North India also count ANP CPMC as a leading player in the construction project management space. Today the company operates from Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Visakhapatnam, Jaipur and many other sites across South and North India.

He brings over 45 years of work experience in Construction Management across a wide spectrum of projects such as Industrial Structures, Multi-storeyed commercial and residential buildings, Luxury Hotels, Pharma Plants, Commercial Malls, Educational Institutions and other buildings both in India and abroad. He is well established as a specialist construction management professional in the hospitality sector having delivered a number of hotels for the Oberoi chain, Taj Group and Welcome Group.

Passionately interested in continuing education for the engineering professionals, he has founded the School for Construction Management Excellence (S-CME) in 2011 to train engineers at all levels – recently graduated, mid-level construction professionals and senior level construction professionals in recent advances in construction management, field engineering practices, quality assurance and control practices, quantity surveying and contract management.

Working as Director of the company since its inception.

Successfully headed the Finance & Administration Team in the recent past.

Mr. Uday S Prakash Mr. Uday S Prakash B.E Chemical Engineering M.S Mechanical Engineering & Energy Processes, M.S Computer Science

In the year after his return to India in December of 2009, out of personal interest he attended an executive management program – 'Management Program for Entrepreneurs and Family Businesses' at Indian Institute of Management – Bangalore, where he concentrated on: Corporate Finance, Statistical Analysis, Strategy and Human Resources Management.

Thereafter, to hone is skill in Corporate Finance he attended an 'Advance Corporate Finance' course at the Indian Institute of Management – Ahmedabad. Where he dealt with: Valuation, Interest Rate and Forex Hedging, Capital Structure, Exchange Rate Parities, PE and VC Investments.

In 2008, he stepped down as Software Architect at Infosys, playing a role at ABN AMRO later taken over by RBS. During his stint in Amsterdam, Netherlands he gained plenty of experience in dealing with a wide range of people from different cultures and nationalities.

Before his move to Amsterdam, The Netherlands, during his stay in Prague, The Czech Republic for over 7 years, he has worked for DHL through Infosys, as a Programmer Analyst, where he helped in developing and designing components of their logistics software.

He has a Dual Masters' in Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science, from the United States. He also did an internship in Chicago before his move to Europe.

What Mr. Uday S Prakash brings to the table is his international experience for over 10 years and his inherent understanding of the Indian context. He is able to draw upon his Information Technology knowledge and his contextual knowledge to help take our organization in the right direction.

Mr. Thomas K. Joseph Mr. Thomas K. Joseph B. Com., FCA, CPA (USA)

Mr. Thomas K Joseph advises clients on a wide spectrum of value-added activities from M&A, Financial Structuring, Fund-raising (including IPO's) Risk Management & Governance.

In April 2006, he stepped down as Sr. Vice President & Chief Financial Officer of Sonata Software Limited on April 5, 2006 after a decade. During this period, Thomas had contributed significantly to Sonata's evolution into a major off-shore software services provider and led Sonata's IPO very successfully. In addition to heading the Finance & Legal function of the Sonata group of companies worldwide, he was responsible for the Infrastructure and Administration functions of the Group.

Concurrently he was Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of Sonata's subsidiary, Offshore Digital Services Inc, in the USA and a Member of the Board of Sonata Information Technology Ltd. His other significant contributions have been in the areas of Risk Management and International Tax management. As a Trustee of Sonata Employees' Trust he played the key role in the company's highly successful Stock Option Scheme.

Prior to joining Sonata, Thomas has had over 21 years of invaluable experience, (of which 11 years were spent with the IT industry), at senior management levels with ITC, Escorts, Rallis (Tata Group), and the RPG Group.

Mr. Sanjay Shelvankar Mr. Sanjay Shelvankar B.E in Computer Science

Sanjay has experience of over 20 years in Technical Delivery, Domain Consulting, leading large distributed development teams, Talent Retention, Talent Transformation and Talent Acquisition. Sanjay has been instrumental in developing dozens of best practices in the realm of Talent Acquisition, Transformation and Retention in the companies he has worked for.

Being a B.E in Computer Science from R.V College of Engineering, Sanjay started his career in a start-up. Further to this he went on to join Wipro and was the Delivery Manager and part of the seed team who founded the Healthcare Practice at Wipro. During his tenure at Wipro, Sanjay was responsible for Healthcare Consulting and Technical Delivery. After Wipro, Sanjay went on to form his own start-up and was the Co-founder and Program Director of this Healthcare IT start-up in the US. During this stint he was responsible for the Technical Delivery, US Operations and HR.

It was during this time that the dot com bust happened and Sanjay and his team decided to wind up. Sanjay then went on to join MindTree and spent close to 7 years at MindTree in various roles right from Practice Head to Head of the Project Management Council to Head of Arboretum (new concept in the industry) to his last stint as Vice President and Head of the Talent Acquisition at MindTree.

During this stint in Talent Acquisition, Sanjay went on to revolutionize the way recruitment is viewed at in the industry. From setting up multiple RPO's, to managing a unified vendor ecosystem and bringing in technology and processes, Sanjay has earned a lot of respect for his work in the field of Talent Acquisition. During his tenure there, MindTree's Talent Acquisition team also went on to sweep 5 out of 6 awards in the RASBIC (Recruitment and Staffing Best in Class) awards of 2008-2009 – recognized for use of cutting-edge innovation, technology, processes etc. Sanjay also took Talent Acquisition from a cost centre to a profit centre by providing Talent Acquisition Consulting to MindTree's clients.

Mr. B.L. Suresh Mr. B.L. Suresh

B L Suresh, with a Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering, is the second employee who joined the company in March 1993 as an engineer, and has been with the company for the last 20 years, in various capacities. He now heads the company operations as its Chief Executive Officer.

He had previously worked with M/s Edgar Demello, an architectural firm, where he played a pivotal role in executing the projects taken up by the firm.

Mr. Suresh brings in expertise in the areas of Construction Project Management, especially in planning and contract management and has made very valuable contributions to the clients by way of numerous value additions during the lifecycle of the project.

He has managed projects for the company in all major lines of business such as Residential, Commercial, IT, Industrial, Institutional, Hospital and Hotels.

He has successfully managed the delivery of projects meeting Green Building norms such as Mahindra Rewa plant at Bangalore, Xchanging project at Shimoga, Otis project at Bangalore, Manjushree at Bidadi, Mindtree at Whitefield and Godrej at Mangalore. He has also successfully managed the delivery of the A O Smith project to meet FM standards, and the Audi Showrooms and Service Centres to strict German standards.

He oversees both the CPMC and QA/QC verticals spread over Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, parts of Karnataka and parts of North India.

Mr. Srinivas Belvadi Mr. Srinivas Belvadi

Srinivas Belvadi, a Cost Accountant by profession, is currently heading the Human Resource Function of the company, having handled Finance, IT, Administration and Business Development for the company during the last five years since July 2007.

His move to Human Resources comes from his passion for making a difference in the company by making a difference to the staff and through the staff to the customer. He sincerely believes that HR today holds the key to world class delivery, as the company focuses on many HR initiatives in improving the human capital in the company through capacity building and making HR a true strategic partner of the company.

Starting his career as an internal and cost auditor, he moved into the role of a Cost Accountant with the Hero Group developing costing and materials management systems for a pressure die casting unit of the company. He then took care of accounts in a Tata Group company focused on producing fibre reinforced plastics.

Changing gears, he moved to a number of IT companies working in diverse areas such as costing, project management, and heading MIS, Quality Assurance and Documentation teams. He then moved to Business Development selling Knowledge Management Solutions. He has worked with international and national level companies in business process improvements assignments, both in India and abroad, before moving over to A N Prakash Construction Project Management Consultants Pvt. Ltd.

He is an active visiting faculty for the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Bangalore Chapter, in conducting the Costing and Strategic Cost Management sessions for their management development programmes for the past 16 years.
